Baby Botox® is Popular Pre-juventation Among Millenials

Pre-juvenate wth Baby Botox!

Watch our own Nurse Practitioner Jamary discuss and perform one the most popular and cost effect pre-juvenation technique to prevent future wrinkles – BABY BOTOX! OInstead of trying to turn back the effects time, an increasing number of young women are undergoing non-invasive cosmetic procedures to stop time in its tracks, before it does its damage.

Baby BOTOX uses a lower amount than traditional injection to smooth fine lines and wrinkles.  NP Jamary states “Rather than 25 units per area, for a young woman, only 10 units is necessary for their prevention purposes.”  Besides the lower volume of Botox, the key is the technique.    You need to be very precise as to where the Botox is injected otherwise, the lower volume won’t be as effective in preventing future wrinkles.

Baby BOTOX works for millennials and middle aged women, who are looking to prevent future wrinkles in the brow and around their eyes.

Kysse™ and Botox® are Most Popular Among Young Women

Fill Lips with Kysse and Prevent Wrinkles with Botox

One of the latest cosmetic trends in the millennial consumer group is prejuvenation, the latest new word from combining prevention and rejuvenation. Instead of trying to turn back the effects time, an increasing number of young women are undergoing non-invasive cosmetic procedures to stop time in its tracks, before it does its damage.

One of the popular ways of preventing fine lines from worsening into deep wrinkles is by getting Botox to relax facial muscles. The idea behind this is simple: the less muscles contract, the less the skin will crease. It is much harder to treat wrinkles after they have already formed, but much easier to simply delay their onset. In fact, if a wrinkle has already etched its way onto your face when your muscles are at rest, its likely that Botox can?t help and rather must be treated with a filler instead. By using Botox to stave off fine lines before they have a chance to develop into deep wrinkles, you can delay the signs of aging and enjoy a younger appearance for much longer.

In the quest for Kylie-esque lips, more and more young women are opting for fillers. All it takes is a quick scroll through your social feeds to be reminded that full lips are still THE THING. And, in case you didn’t notice, it’s not just ladies of a certain age using fillers to minimize fine lines and get back their youthful pouts. Call it the Kylie effect: Young women are increasingly the ones getting their lips done—and according to Dr. Barrett, they’re starting younger and younger.

“The most common age range would be mid-20s to mid-30s and I even see young women in the early 20s coming in for lip treatment” says Dr. Barrett.

And a lot of young women are getting their inspiration from Instagram. “I think as more and more people post their results on social media, it’s becoming increasingly popular. It’s a very simple and straightforward procedure, so it’s ideal for those looking to increase volume, tweak shape or just provide a little plumping and oomph to their lips,”

Kysse  works for millennials who are looking for the “enhanced” lips, as well as 50 – 70 year old patients who want to bring volume back into their lips.

Kysse™ and Tell..

New Lip Filler Was Just FDA-Approved

Restylane Kysse  is a new hyluronic acid alternative to the popular Juvederm lip filler that just become FDA approved in May 2020.

It uses Galderma’s proprietary XpresHAn Technology®  (pronounced ex-spre-shan) which enhances the way that the hyaluronic acid binds to the lips.  Kysse actually binds to the lip tissue where it gets injected.   When youre talking, smiling, and kissing, it stretches but then goes back to the way it was.  It becomes a part of the lip tissues.

Lip filler can feel uncomfortable or difficult to get used to, like there’s an unknown substance inside your lips (because there is!).  Dr. Barret found that Kysse felt more nature, in addition to looking more natural.  “It’s not only believable to everyone else, but it is believable to you!’

Clinical trials showed that Kysse can last for almost a year.  Other lip fillers typically last three to six months.  Additionally, the amount needed to show an improvement in lip fullness can be 20% less than other lip fillers.  If Kysse works for you, you may be able to pay less money for filler than lasts longer!

Kysse  works for millennials who are looking for the “enhanced” lips, as well as 50 – 70 year old patients who want to bring volume back into their lips.

JupiteResidents Wonder Botox® vs Dysport®

What is the difference between Botox® and Dysport®?

What is the difference between Botox® and Dysport®?  These are two of the most popular neuromodulators that people use to get rid of brow wrinkles.  Both originates from the same bacterium, clostridium botulinum.  Each has been proven in clinical trials and in worldwide application.

WHO MAKES BOTOX® and DYSPORT®?

All are made by different pharmaceutical companies:  Botox® is made by Allergan and Dysport® is made by Galderma.  However, it was Allergan that was first to market when it was approved by the FDA over ten years ago and that first mover advantage has given Botox the coveted brand recognition.

ARE THERE ANY DIFFERENCES?

While both do basically the same thing, which is to temporarily paralyze targeted muscles, each person can react slightly different to each product.  For example, Dysport® tends to spread more than Botox® and patients who have stopped responding well to Botox®, will use it.

EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT BOTOX BUT WHAT ABOUT DYSPORT?
  • Dysport is a Botox alternative and takes affect in as little as 3 days where Botox can take up to 2 weeks to see full results.
  • Dysport paralyses your muscles so you can’t make that face therefore you can’t get that wrinkle.
  • Over time, it will atrophy or soften the muscles in your face and soften the wrinkles.
  • It is recommended to due Dysport every 3 months or optimal results.
  • Dysport is known for its nice spreading properties as well as for its natural way it freezes the face.

Jupiter Residents Wonder What My Personal Skin Care Regimen Is?

What Are My Daily Regimen Secrets?

Many people comment to me:  Wow look at your skin!  What do you do?

Read below to learn my daily cleansing and moisturizing secrets!  All the products I use lasts me about six months.

Cleansing and Exfoliating

The first thing I use after hopping out of the shower is the Zo Skin Health Cleanser.  I only need a pea-sized amount to do my entire face.   Afterwards, I used Zo Exfoliating Polish, which consists of smooth crystals.  It’s going to exfoliate that top layer of your skin to give you nice smooth and glowing skin.

Creams and Serums

I use is the NeoCutis Lumiere Riche Biorestorative eye cream and again you need just a teeny tiny amount and put it right underneath the eye.   I also use it right on my upper lid.  Next is my secret weapon – Skin Better Science.  It’s fairly a newer line but I love this it because they don’t have any fragrances or additives.   The thing that make us have beautiful skin is to have a glowing skin but also to have even tone.   One pump of this will even your tone.  Next, I use Neocutis Hyalis.  It’s an hyaluronic acid which is what we naturally have. This is going to give you a beautiful glow and a little shine to your face.  It will also moisturizes.

Sun Screen

This is muy importante!  If you want to see me cringe, tell me that your sunscreen is in your makeup or  that you got your sunscreen at CVS or Walgreens.  I can’t stress this enough. you need MEDICAL GRADE sun screen.  I use Elta MD sunscreen and I wear it everyday.  It goes on light and lasts virtually the entire day!

Evening Routine

For the evening, I cleanse with the Zo Skin Health Cleanser.  To moisturize, I use Skin Better Science AlphaRet, overnight cream, which is an amazing retinol.  It’s as strong as a Retin-A, but it will not give you the irritation or redness.  It actually goes into your dermis, which is where you need it.  I actually mix it on the back of my hand and then put it everywhere, including right in front of my ears.   My last thing I do at night before I go to bed is Hawrych MD Lash.  I put it right on my eyelashes just like an eye-liner.  This is going to give me longer and fuller lashes.

These are my secrets but remember, everyone is a little different.  However, you always want to make sure your lotions are medical grade.  Preservation is the best medicine so whatever your daily regimen is, consistently do it!

6 Surprising Facts About Botox® in Jupiter and Stuart

6 Surprising Facts About Botox® You Need To Know

When people think of aesthetics, Botox® usually comes 1st in peoples’ minds in the United States.   Read on to learn about 6 fascinating facts about Botox®.

1 – Botox® Treatment Can Be Done Under 15 Minutes

For example, while you’re taking a lunch break, before you pick up the kids from daycare… the scheduling options are many.

2 – More Men Are Getting Botox

More men are getting Botox® —in fact, the number of men getting injections has increased by over 300 percent since 2000. They  are largely white-collar professionals in the business or fashion industries, and many cite competition in the workplace as a motivation. Men are often more likely to give Botox a try if they’ve seen the results of their wife or girlfriend’s treatments.

3 – Botox® was Discovered in the 1800s

While Botox didn’t gain FDA approval as a cosmetic treatment until 2002, it was actually discovered back in the 1820s by Dr. Kerner.  It is a botulinum toxin, a neurotoxin protein formed from a bacterium and in large quantities, can cause major illness. That’s why it’s important to get injections from a licensed medical professional.

4 – Botox Can’t Do Anything For Sun Damage

Botox works by temporarily paralyzing muscles that cause wrinkles. If you can’t move your muscles, you can’t get wrinkles. Botox is often used to treat the frown lines between the eyebrows, as well as on crow’s feet around the eyes. While those muscles are immobilized, the wrinkles and lines stay smooth.  Thus, it’s critical that you wear medical grade sunscreen anytime you go outside.

5 – Botox® Can Reduce Sweating

For the millions of people who suffer from excessive sweating, Botox can be injected into area with overactive sweat glands to treat this condition for up to six months. Botox can also treat chronic migraines, overactive bladder, crossed eyes and other conditions that affect muscles.  However, excessive use of Botox can lead to unwanted side effects so be prudent in when and what conditions to treat with Botox.

6 – Botox® Isn’t Permanent
A treatment lasts an average of three to four months for most people, so doctors generally recommend a schedule of injections. Luckily, Botox is affordable and each procedure is quick and easy.
